Angelo Federico Arcelli
Angelo Federico Arcelli is currently a full professor (“professore straordinario a t.d.”) at Università Guglielmo Marconi (Rome) and lecturer in economic policy at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore (Piacenza). Federico holds a degree in economics (MSc) from Bocconi University (Milan) and a PhD in economic history from the same university. An expert in governance matters, Federico is a Senior Adviser for Oliver Wyman and a member of the executive committee of Aspen Institute Italy (Rome), senior fellow at the Center for International Governance Innovation (“CIGI”, Waterloo, ON, CN), senior fellow at ISEA (Rome) and senior fellow at the Transatlantic Leadership Network (Washington, DC – USA). He has extensively published in English and Italian mainly on economic and monetary topics and governance issues. In his professional life he has been senior adviser to the vice president (2004-2008) of the European Investment Bank, adviser and member of the Executive Board of the World Bank (2008-2009) and adviser in the Independent Evaluation Group (2009-2010). In the private sector he held positions at IMI Bank (including the secretariat of the board of IMIL limited), McKinsey & Company and Accenture; he served as director for government relations (Europe) for MMC Group (2013-2016).
