Francesco Sylos Labini, a physicist, obtained his Ph.D. from the University of Bologna. He worked for eight years in Switzerland and France and is currently a researcher at the Enrico Fermi Center in Rome and works at the Institute of Complex Systems at the University of Rome, La Sapienza. He is specialized in cosmology, astrophysics and complex systems and has published almost one hundred scientific publications in peer-reviewed journals. He is also the co-author of “I ricercatori non crescono sugli alberi” (Laterza, 2010) and he has a blog on the website of the Italian daily Il Fatto Quotidiano. He is also the President of Associazione Roars.it.
