Francesca Borri is a war reporter specialized in the Middle East. A scholar of Antonio Cassese, the founder of the International Criminal Court, she worked as a Human Rights Adviser before turning to journalism in 2012, covering the Arab Spring and the battle of Aleppo. Since then, her work has been translated into 24 languages. She writes for Yedioth Ahronoth, Israel's leading newspaper, and in Italy, for La Repubblica.
Riccardo Pennisi is a political analyst focusing on geopolitics, demographics, social and electoral trends. He has previously carried out studies and written university papers on democratization in Central-Eastern Europe, state building and EU enlargement; then worked with the Assembly of European Regions in Strasbourg, France. Pennisi has been a regular contributor for Italian think tanks such as Limes, Eastwest, ISPI and AffarInternazionali, and has authored the book "Europei? Fotografia di un continente disorientato".
