Patrick Costello is a Partner at Mercury Public Affairs in Washington, D.C., where he leads the bipartisan government relations team’s NGO and think-tank engagement practice. He is a recognized expert in U.S. foreign policy, trade policy, business diplomacy, and consults widely with policymakers, companies, and institutions to maximize influence and impact in Washington. Before joining Mercury, he served as CEO of the American Security Project and held senior roles at the Council on Foreign Relations, with earlier experience on Capitol Hill and in international government relations.
