Hilina Belayeneh is a geopolitics analyst focusing on security and defense affairs and Africa, and she writes for the international affairs websites Opinio Juris and Arancia Geopolitica. She is currently employed at the Global Affairs and Sustainability Office of Iveco Group, in Rome, whereas for the past five years she has worked with ONE, engaged in lobbying and advocacy on development cooperation and EU–Italy–Africa relations. She is completing her studies in International Relations in the Digital Era at LUMSA University.
