Giulia Cimini is a Post-Doctoral Researcher at the Department of Political and Social Sciences - University of Bologna (Italy) with a Fellowship supported by the Gerda Henkel Foundation. She holds a PhD in International Studies, and specialized in Middle Eastern Studies and Arabic Language. Giulia has been awarded a 2019 POMEPS TRE Grant for her research on marginalized communities and the challenges of decentralization in Tunisia. She is Book Reviews Editor for Interdisciplinary Political Studies, a peer-reviewed, Open Access, online journal publishing in the fields of Comparative Politics and International Relations.
