Giorgio La Malfa, former secretary of Italy's Republican Party and former Member of Parliament, is currently Chairman of the Fondazione Ugo La Malfa, Rome.
Giovanni Farese is Associate Professor of Economic History at the European University of Rome, where he is Dean of the Graduate School of Economics. He is also Managing Editor of The Journal of European Economic History and Marshall Memorial Fellow of the German Marshall Fund of the United States.
