Alessandro Golkar is Full Professor, Chair of Spacecraft Systems at the Technical University of Munich in Germany. He holds a Ph.D. in Aeronautics and Astronautics from MIT. At TUM he leads research in space systems engineering and AI applications for spacecraft systems. His work focuses on spacecraft AI, innovative satellite technology demonstrations, and developing quantitative methods in systems engineering. In addition to his work at TUM, he is a Visiting Senior Instructor at MIT Professional Education, where he teaches the New Space Economy executive course.
