Steven Forti is reasearcher at the Instituto de Història Contemporânea, Universidade Nova de Lisboa. He teaches Contemporary History at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, where he is also a researcher at the Centre d'Estudis sobre Dictadures i Democràcies. He is also a journalist: his articles have appeared, among others, in Limes, MicroMega, Left, CTXT, Atlántica XXII and Epohi. His most recent publications include: "El peso de la nación". Nicola Bombacci, Paul Marion y Óscar Pérez Solís en la Europa de entreguerras (2014), "Ada Colau, la città in comune" (with Giacomo Russo Spena, 2016) and "El proceso separatista en Cataluña. Análisis de un pasado reciente" (with Enric Ucelay-Da Cal and Arnau Gonzàlez i Vilalta, 2017).
