Stefano Filippone-Thaulero is Head of the Office for Interparliamentary Relations at the Italian Senate. He graduated with honours in Political Science at the Free University Luiss of Rome, Italy. In 1992 he became Counselor to the Senato della Repubblica (after an open competitive exam), where he has been Senior Parliamentary Official at the Protocol Office in the Security and Protocol Service, Advisor to the Italian Minister of Culture, Secretary to the Committee against the Death Penalty of the Italian Senate, Secretary to the Human Rights Committee, Head of the Delegations Office (2001-2003), Head of the Office for External Relations.
