Riccardo Perissich, a former Director General of the European Commission, is now senior Fellow of the School of European Political Economy of the LUISS University in Rome. He is the author of two books on the EU. L’Unione Europea, una storia non ufficiale (Longanesi, 2008) and Stare in Europa: sogno, incubo e realtà (Bollati Boringhieri, 2019). He is also the author of three spy stories: Le regole del gioco, Il Seminatore and Gli Insospettabili (all by Longanesi).
