Marco Piantini is an EU official, Adviser to Italy’s Prime Minister for European Affairs and Sherpa for governance reform of the Economic and Monetary Union. He worked from 2006 to 2015 as an Adviser on European issues in the office of Italy’s President of the Republic, Giorgio Napolitano.
