Deandreis Ferrara Panaro

Massimo Deandreis, is General Manager of SRM, an Economic Research Centre related to the Intesa Sanpaolo Banking Group, specialized in the Italian economy, energy issues and maritime economy in a European and Mediterranean perspective. He is also currently President of GEI, the Italian Society of Business Economists, and he has been Professor of Business Management at University of Turin from 2008 to 2018. In the past he worked as a researcher at Centro Einaudi in Turin and the European Association of Regional Financial Centres (ACRFRE), collaborating with the OECD. He served as Head of the Piemonte delegation to the European Union and he has been General Director of the Piemonte Regional Chamber of Commerce for eight years. Olimpia Ferrara is an economist in maritime and logistics, and Head of the Maritime research office of SRM an Economic Research Centre related to the Intesa Sanpaolo Banking Group. She has carried out several Research and Reports on Ports, Logistics, Shipping, Simplified Logistics Zones and Special Economic Zones. She has led study teams with the presence of Italian and foreign universities and research centers and has carried out scientific missions in several national and international ports and logistics platforms, and authored publications and essays in specialized and scientific journals. She was a speaker at national and international conferences, technical tables, meetings, seminars and events. Alessandro Panaro is an economist in maritime transport and logistics. Head of the Maritime & Energy research department of SRM (a research center linked to the Intesa Sanpaolo Group). He coordinates research on Ports, Shipping, Logistics, Intermodality, Special Economic Zones, and the Energy sector. He has coordinated research and reports and worked in teams with universities and research centres such as the University of Hamburg, Antwerp, Rotterdam, the Shanghai International Shipping Institute, the Hong Kong Polytechnic, the Korea Maritime Institute. He has carried out scientific missions at over 40 Italian and foreign ports and logistics platforms. He has carried out numerous publications in specialised and scientific journals, and sits in the scientific committee of maritime associations and think tanks.
